Gordon E. Lindsay, was born in the small district of Plowden in South Manchester. He is the last child by Sebert and Winsome Lindsay. He is a past Student of the Manchester High School and the Northern Caribbean University (NCU) and a graduate from the Theological Seminary at Andrews University.
While at NCU, Gordon Lindsay gave relentless service to the department of Religion and Theology as President for the International Evangelism Ministry for University Students and Assistant Secretary of the Ministerial Association and later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Theology and a minor in Mathematics.
He was elected to serve as the Youth Director of the North East Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (NEJC) in the same year. This he did for 8 years. His passion for service has fueled his spirit of volunteerism and has led him to serve in several community related initiatives.
While at Andrews University, Pastor Lindsay served in leadership roles of Vice President of the Seminary Students Forum, Assistant Chaplain of the Haitian Club, Treasurer of the Black Students Association. He served as intern with the Berean Transformation Center, where he lead in training soul winners for evangelism. He is passionate about Evangelism and Mission and for 2 consecutive years he went on mission trips to Zambia, Papua New Guinea and Guadeloupe. Over the span of his ministry, he has baptized over 867 precious souls. He’s a master guide, senior youth and an ordained minister of the gospel.
Pastor Lindsay understands that the call to discipleship is a call to continual self-denial. His ultimate desire is to assist in the promulgation of the Gospel in whatever way possible and to help others, together with himself to be ready for the coming of Jesus.
